iPad: page scanning fails in landscape orientation

Page scanning fails when the iPad is in landscape orientation. The camera opens but won't recognize a page number.

Rotating to portrait with the camera at the top scans immediately, and rotating back to landscape continues to work.

Workaround: rotate to portrait, scan, then return to landscape.

Note: QR code scanning for initial Edition setup does function.
